How do I find the county for my ticket?

Look at the court name and address printed on your citation or court notice. The county is usually shown in the court name or mailing address.

Do I mail my certificate to the California court?

No. We electronically report your completion to the California DMV and the court. You receive an emailed copy for your records.

When is standard processing completed?

Standard electronic court and DMV processing is included and completed within three business days after you pass, enter the required ticket information, and pay.

Why does the court not show my completion immediately?

A court administrator must download and process the electronic record we send them before it appears in the court’s local case system. This can take 30 days or more depending on the court.

Can I use this course for a federal traffic ticket?

All federal courts accept our California DMV-licensed traffic school certificate. Contact the federal court before enrolling to verify acceptance and ask how the certificate must be submitted.

Can I use this course for an out-of-state ticket?

Some out-of-state courts accept our certificate, while others require a provider licensed in their state. Confirm acceptance with the court before registering.

Who submits a federal or out-of-state certificate?

Unlike California county court completions, federal and out-of-state certificates may need to be printed, mailed, uploaded, or submitted by you. Follow the instructions from your court.

Should I confirm that my ticket was closed?

Yes. The court may not notify you or us if you fail to meet their requirements.  About 30 days after completing the course, check your citation online or contact the court to confirm traffic school was applied and the ticket was closed.
