Ticket Still Appears on My DMV Record
- If your ticket still appears on your driving record, contact the court. The court is responsible for notifying the DMV to mask the ticket.
- If you hold a commercial driver's license (CDL), the ticket will remain visible on your record but will not count toward your total NOTS (Negligent Operator Treatment System) points. CDL holders must contact the DMV Driver Safety Unit at (916) 657-6452 after completing traffic school to ensure the DMV does not assess the point.
